Introduction
About This Notice
AquaDash respects your privacy. This Privacy Notice describes the personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights and choices available to you. Please read it carefully before booking a service or providing us with personal information.
๐ Plain Language Summary
We collect what we need to book and deliver your service: your name, contact information, vehicle details, payment information, and your service preferences. We use it to deliver your service, communicate with you, and improve our business. We do not sell your information for money. We share it only with the service providers who help us run AquaDash and where required by law. You have rights over your information, including the right to access, correct, and delete it. Full details below.
Part One
Overview
Section 1
About This Notice
This Privacy Notice ("Notice") is issued by AquaDash LLC ("AquaDash," "we," "us," or "our"), a Texas limited liability company providing concierge vehicle detailing services. It describes the personal information we collect from and about our customers and website visitors, how that information is used, the parties we share it with, and your rights with respect to that information.
This Notice serves as our Notice at Collection for purposes of the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), the Colorado Privacy Act, the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, and similar state laws.
Our Terms of Service are a separate document available on our website. By using our website, booking a service, or otherwise providing information to AquaDash, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Notice.
Section 2
Scope
This Notice applies to:
- Information collected through our website at aquadashcarwash.com (the "Site");
- Information collected when you book or receive an AquaDash service at any of our locations;
- Information collected through our customer communications, including phone, email, and text message;
- Information collected through our social media accounts where applicable.
This Notice does not apply to: information that is publicly available; information collected by third-party websites we link to but do not operate; or information we collect in our capacity as an employer about job applicants and employees, which is governed by a separate Employee Privacy Notice.
Part Two
What We Collect
We collect personal information in three ways: (i) information you provide to us directly; (ii) information collected automatically when you visit our Site or use our services; and (iii) information we receive from third parties.
Section 3
Information You Provide Directly
When you book a service, create an account, contact us, or otherwise interact with AquaDash, we collect personal information you provide, which may include:
- Identifiers: first and last name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and account credentials;
- Service details: service tier booked, appointment date and time, service location, vehicle details, and service history;
- Customer preferences: notes regarding your preferences, areas of focus, products to avoid, fragrance preferences, and other service-related preferences captured at intake or in subsequent communications;
- Payment information: payment method details, billing address, and transaction history;
- Communications: the content of messages you send us via phone, text, email, the Site, or other channels.
Section 4
Vehicle Information
To deliver our services, we collect information about your vehicle, which may include: make, model, year, color, license plate number, vehicle identification number (VIN), aftermarket modifications, service history, and observations made during the vehicle intake inspection.
Vehicle information is collected at booking, at intake before each service, and during service. License plate numbers are collected for purposes of vehicle identification at the service location and to maintain accurate service records.
Section 5
Payment Information
When you pay for a service or place a deposit, your credit or debit card information is transmitted directly to our third-party payment processor in accordance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards ("PCI-DSS").
AquaDash does not store full card numbers on our systems. We retain a tokenized reference to your payment method, the last four digits of the card number, the card brand, the expiration date, and a record of your transactions.
Section 6
Photos and Videos of Vehicles
We routinely photograph and video-record vehicles before, during, and after service. These records are used for:
- Documenting vehicle condition at intake;
- Quality assurance and training;
- Resolving any subsequent dispute regarding the condition of the vehicle;
- Social media content, advertising, and other marketing purposes.
By booking an appointment with AquaDash, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use these photographs and videos of your vehicle as described in our Terms of Service. We obscure license plates and other directly identifying details before publishing any image externally, and we do not externally publish images that show identifiable personal items inside a vehicle or the interior of a personal residence.
If you prefer that future images of your vehicle not be used in external marketing, please contact us โ see Section 28.
Section 7
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information about your device and your interaction with the Site, which may include:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address;
- Approximate geographic location derived from IP address;
- Device type, operating system, and browser type;
- Pages of our Site you visit, time spent, and click patterns;
- Referring website or source (the link you arrived through);
- Date and time stamps of visits.
Section 8
Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar tracking technologies on our Site. These technologies serve several purposes:
Strictly Necessary
Cookies required for the Site to function (for example, maintaining a session or remembering items in a booking flow). These cannot be disabled without affecting site functionality.
Analytics
Tools that help us understand how visitors use our Site so we can improve it. We may use Google Analytics or similar analytics tools, which collect information about your use of the Site on an aggregated basis.
Advertising and Marketing
Pixels and tracking tools provided by advertising platforms (such as Meta/Facebook, Google Ads, and similar networks) that allow us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to deliver more relevant ads to you on other websites.
Information collected through these technologies may be associated with other personal information we hold about you. Some of this activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain state laws โ see Section 16.
Your choices: Most browsers accept cookies by default. You may change your browser settings to refuse cookies, though parts of our Site may not function correctly.
Do Not Track: We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. Where required by applicable state law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC).
Section 9
Information We Receive from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from third-party sources, including:
- Booking and scheduling platforms we use to manage appointments;
- Payment processors for the purpose of processing transactions;
- Social media platforms if you interact with our pages or use a social-media-based login;
- Advertising and analytics providers regarding your interactions with our advertising;
- Referrals, when an existing customer refers you to AquaDash, in which case we may receive your name and contact information.
Part Three
How We Use It
Section 10
Purposes of Use
We use personal information for the purposes for which it was collected, and for purposes reasonably contemplated at the time of collection, including:
- Service delivery: to schedule, confirm, deliver, and follow up on your detailing services;
- Customer communication: to respond to inquiries, provide service updates, and send transactional notifications;
- Quality assurance: to document service quality, resolve concerns, and improve our standards;
- Personalization: to tailor service to your preferences and recognize you on subsequent visits;
- Marketing: to send promotional offers and other marketing communications, where you have opted in or where permitted by law;
- Site operation and improvement: to operate, maintain, secure, and improve our Site;
- Analytics: to understand how customers find and use our services and to inform business decisions;
- Fraud prevention and security: to protect AquaDash, our team, and our customers from fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
- Legal compliance: to comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, and government requests, and to enforce our Terms of Service.
Section 11
Marketing & Communications
We send two general categories of communications:
- Transactional communications are necessary to deliver your booked service: confirmations, appointment reminders, follow-ups, receipts, and legal notices. These are not promotional and you will receive them for any active appointment.
- Marketing communications are promotional: offers, news about our services, seasonal promotions. By providing your email address when booking, you consent to receive marketing emails from us. You may opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us as described in Section 28.
- Marketing text messages (SMS) are sent only to customers who have given express opt-in consent at the time of booking or in response to a written promotion, as required by federal law. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any AquaDash marketing text.
Opting out of marketing communications does not opt you out of transactional communications related to a booked service.
Section 12
SMS Program
If you provide a mobile phone number, we may send you text messages relating to your appointments, service reminders, and (with your consent) promotional offers. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Message frequency varies based on your activity with AquaDash.
- To opt out of marketing text messages, reply STOP to any AquaDash marketing text.
- For help, reply HELP or contact us at 972-632-8449.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Part Four

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not rent or loan your personal information to third parties.
However, certain online advertising and analytics activities described in Section 8 โ particularly the use of advertising pixels and similar tracking technologies โ may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain state privacy laws, even where no money changes hands.
